Welcome to Shamanic Earth Wisdom
What is Shamanism?
Considered the oldest spiritual practice on the planet, shamanism is a personal healing pathway. It’s a transformational journey of self discovery and healing. Shamanism works with your inner and outer world.
When you begin to discover Shamanism you’ll find a new balance in your life. A new consciousness. If you hear the call to connect with your innate indigenosity, it’s time to respond.
The Origins of Shamanism
Shamanism is the oldest known form of healing and spiritual practice. You’ll find evidence of shamanic rituals, practices and traditions all around the world in a variety of different cultures. So, even though the roots of shamanism run deep and wide, researchers believe the word shaman itself, stems from a Siberian Tribe called the Tungus. It means ‘healer’ or a person who ‘sees in the dark’. Wherever you live, if you dive deeply enough into your lineage, you’ll probably find some form of shamanism in your ancestry.
At shamanic earth wisdom we believe that our connection to nature is hardwired in all of us.
What is a Shaman?
“Honoring the world of form and spirit; surrendering to endless death and rebirth; this is the source of all healing — the shaman’s power.”
Theodore Tsaousidis
Shamans are healers. Their ancient medicine works with spiritual wisdom traditions to restore balance within themselves their community. Most shamanic practitioners work with energy and nature as part of their healing, respecting all of the natural world.
Shamanism is a powerful way to positively change your life. It’s a path that creates positive energy to manifest a new path. A shaman is your guide. They’ve walked the path and will act as your healer, guide and teacher. You can discover more in our blogs and courses.
